Patch 275 Brings Customizable Avatars To Aexia!

Our most requested feature is finally here! But that's not all, we've added new music, new poster formats, AND the ability for the GM to toggle DESTROY THE SUN (you can toggle the world light on and off).

The new official build is remaining in the alpha channel for now, pending a bugfix that breaks the duplicate feature. It's best to stick to the old build for building stages, and the new build for playing on them.

What’s new

Customizable Avatars through Ready Player Me!

With our new RPM integration, you can now customize your avatars to suit your liking. Currently, that means creating your avatar through the Ready Player Me web portal, eventually, we hope to expand that to a full in-game character builder!

We believe this change is crucial for allowing players to better express their roleplay creativity through character creation. Now more than ever, you can play your character, even across multiple sessions! With this, we’re going to start hosting longer-term roleplays that take place over multiple sessions. I hope you’re as excited as we are!

  • Access the avatar creator at this link  https://aexia.readyplayer.me/

  • Create a new avatar!

  • Experiment with different settings to make the perfect avatar

  • Or try letting RPM create one for you by taking a photo or uploading a file with a character image

  • When you’re done, hit next and get the avatar code:

    • As a player, input the code into the “Avatar Code” section on the avatar tab of your menu

    • As a Game Master, input the code into the “Avatar Code” section on the properties of whatever avatar you’ve selected.
